Teddy Bear Hunt with Free Printable

Print out these numbered teddy bears on card stock and cut them out.  The amount of teddy bear cut-outs you will need depends on how many guests will be attending and how long you want this activity to keep them occupied.
Before the guests arrive, hide the teddy bears throughout the party location.  When it is time to play, give the children a set amount if time to hunt for the teddy bears.  The bears have numbers on them which indicates the amount of points each bear is worth.  When the time is up, add up how many points each child's bears are worth- the person with the most is the winner.
This game can also be played by organizing the children into teams instead of having them hunt individually.  Get the printable here:  Teddy Bear Hunt Party Game

Stuffed Animal Charades- Three Versions

In a separate room, place all of the stuffed animals into a box. Have one child close their eyes and randomly pick an animal. The child then returns to the party room and pretend to be the type of animal they chose while the other children make guesses. The first child to guess correctly is the winner! This game can be made very easy for younger children by allowing them to act out the type of animal in any way they choose- the only rule being they cannot actually say the name of the animal. This game can be adapted for older children by having them pantomime the type of animal- no noise at all! For groups of children who need an even bigger challenge, rather than acting, have the child draw a picture of the animal while they are blindfolded. Set up an easel with a chair next to it so they can draw while the other guests make guesses.

All Wrapped Up!

For a party where the guests have been instructed
to bring a favorite stuffed animal with them

As soon as each child arrives, have them hand their stuffed animal to an adult before any of the other guests get a chance to see the toy.  The adult takes the stuffed animal to a separate room and wraps the stuffed animal up in tissue paper and then in a plastic bag. When it is wrapped up, the whole thing should be taped closed very securely.

After the guests have all arrived, have them sit down and then pass the wrapped stuffed animals around one at a time. The children can try to identify the type of animal by feeling the toy through the wrapping.
